Alpaca fiber is natural, antibacterial, antimicrobial, and odor resistant. This means that your alpaca garment does not need to be washed as frequently as other garments. 

Wash Instructions

-Dry cleaning is the preferred and safest method of washing.

-Hand wash with cold water and lay flat to dry is acceptable.

Storage Instructions

-Moths are the alpacas biggest enemy. Clean the poncho before storing it and use lavender or moth balls to protect it.

-Fold the Poncho instead of hanging it. This will prevent it from stretching and losing its shape.

-Breathable boxes are preferred such as shirt boxes, pillowcases, or paper bags. Avoid plastic and dry cleaning bags.

Additional Tips

-Air your alpaca garments frequently to keep it fresh.

-Avoid storing in direct sunlight.

-If stained, wipe the stain immediately with a damp cloth.

-Iron at low temperatures.
